the following info may be useful...

Directions








 


From I-87 (New York State Thruway)


Take New York State Thruway I-87 to just north of Albany and pick up Route 7 East into TROY, NY (one of the LATHAM  exits).  From Troy, NY take NY Rte. 7 East all the way to Rte. 279 just outside of Vermont.  Take Rte. 279 to VT Rte. 7 North in Vermont(Caution:  not too far after you pass through Hoosick, NY, stay STRAIGHT on Rte. 7 to Rte. 279...DON'T take the turn toward Bennington on Rte. 9 at the lighted intersection.)   Once on VT Rte. 7 North (NOT Historic Rte. 7A), travel approx. 20 minutes to Manchester Center (Exit 4).   At the bottom of the exit ramp, for Friday night's Butties show turn LEFT for downtown Manchester...look for the Green on your right at the main downtown intersection, OR for Saturday night's show turn RIGHT at the bottom of the exit ramp off Rte. 7 North onto VT Rte. 11 East straight through Londonderry toward Magic Mountain.  Three miles east of Londonderry (still on  Rte. 11 East) turn RIGHT at the Magic Mountain sign.  The Base Lodge is ½ mile up the access road.

From I-91 (Northbound)
Leave the Interstate at Exit 6.  Turn left onto Rte. 103  toward Chester, VT.   When entering Chester continue straight... the road becomes Rte. 11 West.   Continue on Rte. 11 West through the village of Chester and on toward Londonderry.  Before reaching Londonderry, you will come upon the sign for Magic Mountain on your left. Turn left at the sign and proceed 1/2 mile to the Base Lodge for Saturday night's show.  For Friday night's Butties show, downtown Manchester is reached by following Rte. 11 West all the way through Londonderry to Manchester Center.  The Green is located on your right at the main downtown intersection.

Johnny Seesaw's provides nice inn accommodations, as well as the availability of secluded cabins, all with a wonderful restaurant/bar on premises. Conveniently located in between Manchester and Londonderry.

Frog's Leap Inn

The Frog's Leap Inn is a beautiful country inn with a terrific restaurant and a huge outdoor pool.  They also offer dinner/theater specials in conjunction with the Weston Playhouse.  It's located between Londonderry and Weston, only a few miles from Magic Mountain.

The Inn On Magic is a recently renovated motel that's literally 100 yards from Magic Mountain.  They offer a variety of nicely appointed rooms, including flat screen TVs with satellite and free long distance phone calls, as well as a continental breakfast, an outdoor pool and a bar.

Bromley Mountain  is a great way to spend the afternoon.  They have an alpine slide, a water tube ride, miniature golf and tons more.  Located just outside of Londonderry.  

Weston Playhouse
